Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing in Greenwood, IN
Greenwood is the most mixed market we serve: a nineteenth-century downtown square, a mile of big-box retail on US 31, and a large share of apartment and townhome communities. Walden Window & Pressure Washing works across all three, and every quote is free and in writing.
Storefront and retail glass
Retail glass is judged from the pavement, and it is dirty in a way customers register before they consciously notice it. The US 31 corridor through Greenwood carries the mall and most of the big-box trade, and that frontage collects road film from a heavily trafficked highway. Old Town Greenwood, by contrast, is 25 contributing buildings on about three acres — masonry storefronts from roughly 1887 to 1915, including the Grafton Peek Building and the old Odd Fellows Hall.
Those two need different treatment. Modern retail frontage is large plate glass with aluminium framing that can be worked quickly on a regular rotation. The historic square has painted wood trim, soft mortar and older glazing, and we work it at low pressure with more care and more hand finishing.
Homes, apartments and hard-water spotting
Greenwood has the lowest owner-occupancy of anywhere we serve, at just under sixty percent, which means an unusually large share of apartment and townhome stock. Multi-unit property has its own economics — turnovers, common-area walkways, breezeways and shared entries — and it is best handled on a standing schedule rather than reactively.
For houses, the most common complaint we get here is spotting that will not wash off. Central Indiana is hard-water country, and sprinkler overspray onto glass and siding leaves calcium deposits that ordinary cleaning cannot lift. Caught early it comes off with the right treatment; left through a summer of sun it etches into the glass and no amount of scrubbing brings it back. We will tell you honestly which of those two you have.

About Greenwood
Greenwood is in Johnson County about eleven miles south of downtown Indianapolis, sitting between I-65 and I-69, with a population near 69,000. It has grown steadily rather than explosively — 27,153 in 1990 to 63,830 in 2020 — which is why its housing stock is genuinely mixed in age rather than skewed to one decade.
Greenwood Park Mall opened as a shopping center in 1965 and became an enclosed mall in 1980; it now runs to nearly 1.3 million square feet and anchors the US 31 corridor. At the other end of the scale, the Greenwood Commercial Historic District went on the National Register in 1991 and preserves the small walkable square, including the 1906 G.W. Clemmons Block and the 1909 Masonic Lodge.
The city has seventeen parks and more than twenty miles of trails, and Pleasant Run Creek crosses the northern half of town. Endress+Hauser runs its expanded US headquarters here, and the position between two interstates has drawn warehousing and third-party logistics — so alongside the retail and residential work there is a steady commercial base.
